From the makers, and broadcasters of "Space Goofs" (1997), comes the tale of an otherwise contented cat named Oggy, who faces constant harassment by a group of annoying cockroaches. Relying on no dialogue whatsoever, this half-season cartoon operated with semi-silent humor, reminiscent of the original Tom & Jerry cartoons, and the many incarnations of "The Pink Panther Show" Oggy would be the happiest of cats if three cockroaches hadn't decided to settle inside his comfortable home. I have heard a lot about this show but never saw.One day I was just swapping the channels and I watched it,thanks to channel nickelodeon India.Now me,my family and also my friends are regular viewer of this show.The concept of show is similar to Tom and Jerry but it is having more laughter and of course a lot of surprise.<br/><br/>But the main reason the show captured the mass was dubbing,yes this show is being aired as dubbed version in India Germany and UK. In Indian version the mimicry of famous Bollywood star voice like Shahrukh Khan,Sunny Deol,Amreesh Puri,Sunil Shetty,Akshay Kumar,Paresh Rawal,Gulshan Grower and many more is used. So all the laughter is doubled after Complete Audio-Visual experience as the dialogs are superb and so are the renames like Joey is Lambu(tall),Dee Dee is Mote (fat and hungry),Marky is chote (small) and Jack is Fauji (soldier). After watching one season in dubbed version, I bought the DVD and watched the rest.Even without voice my experience was unaffected and the laughter was never reduced. This is a must watch show for everyone of any age.I love it more then once I loved Tom and Jerry in my childhood. Don't you hate cockroaches? Don't you feel they can ruin your evening when they get out to terrify you? Oggy feels the same. But Oggy, a modern cat with a pop-freak culture, wants to deal with them in many different ways at every episode of ''Oggy and the Cockroaches". Pleasant humor that is more adult than childish and lots of irony. <br/><br/>The cockroaches are 3 little ''bad boys" with no respect for Oggy or whoever gets into their way. They usually pay for their bad habits, sometimes in a sadistic for them way. They have the chance to revenge and Oggy pays too:( The spectator isn't sympathetic with Oggy or the cockroaches, both characters are messing around with each other, resulting in a non-clear justice.
